Ministry Groups
Nursery
We love babies at SHBC! You can rest assured that your babies will be in a clean, safe, environment while you enjoy a break during our Sunday Small Group time as well as our Worship time. Nursery ministry is available upon request as needed for special events.Nursery is available during:
• Sundays: 9 AM Worship Time
10 AM Small Group Bible Studies
11 AM Worship
Nursery is located on Level 2 (Worship Center Level)
Other nursery services will be announced as they are needed and requested through our weekly bulletin as well as our web site.

Children
At SHBC we love kids! Jesus said that no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they become like a child. We truly believe that children are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today and the leaders of tomorrow's church! So, we put a lot of effort into making sure that every part of our children’s ministry is done in an excellent way. We are preparing the people who will one day lead this ministry!The K'motion service is split into two: Kindergarteners through 5th graders go to K'motion I downstairs in Koinonia (Fellowship) Hall, while 6th and 7th graders can either stay in the regular church service or go to K'motions II upstairs on the 3rd level. Please sign your child in to K'motion before you leave them there!
K'motion Kids Service:
• Sundays: 10 AM Small Group Bible Studies by grade. (Sunday School)
11 AM K'motion I Worship (Koinonia Hall)
11 AM K'motion II (level 3)
All small group bible studies for kids meet in rooms on Level 3
If you as a parent prefer for your kids to stay in church with you to hear the message given in the Worship Center, we encourage worship as a family as well.
Students
Students from 6th to 12th grade are welcome to join HG as we dig into the Word of God play games, and go to some awesome events!Higher Ground Students:
• Sundays: 10 AM Small Group Bible Study,
Higher Ground meets in the Student Ministries Center on Level 3
Ministry to Men and their sons
2 of 12 Men:
• Every 2nd Saturday: 8 am @ Bob Evan's in Spriengfield
• Bring a friend and pay for his meal!
Music worship
