Ron Kronz, Elder
Ron lives in the Springfield area of Northern Virginia with his wife of 25 years, Cyndie. They have two daughters: Jordan and Rebecca, both of whom work part time and are full-time students.
For many years Ron has worked closely with other men in leadership training, based on God’s call to men as found in the Bible - as spiritual leaders in the home, at work, in the community, and beyond. He ministers to pastors and other church leaders. Ron published a book on this topic (“We Will Not Hide – Biblical Manhood”) and hosts a weekly radio program (“The Praise Movement Bible Study”), which developed as an off-shoot of his work with spiritual leadership.
Ron has owned and operated his own business, locally, for the past 20 years (Dad’s Tree Service). To quote William Carey: “My business is serving the Lord; I make shoes to pay expenses.” He is a conference speaker, evangelist, missionary, Bible teacher, and an ordained minister (ZUCA). He has been invited to south & central Africa numerous times to teach and preach to God’s people there, and has great love for his Christian family across the waters. Ron is also a musician; his favorite instrument is his sax, which he has been playing since childhood. The Lord has blessed Ron with being able to use the sax in his ministry efforts, in addition to preaching and teaching.
Being elected to serve as an elder among the people of SHBC is a great honor. It is Ron’s intention by the Grace of God and through His counsel and Word to make the most of every opportunity on behalf of this body and community.
