God Loves You
1. God's ideal for mankind – Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experience His peace, love, joy and forgiveness in your life. God's plan is that you know abundant life and peace. The Bible says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. God's offer to us is life, right here, right now.
2. The basic problem - Separation from God
All of us disobey God and follow our own ways. This is what separates us from God.
The Bible Says: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23.
3. God's solution to the problem - Jesus Christ
God sent His Son to make a way to re-connect Himself and man. Christ took the punishment for your sins when He died on the cross and rose from the grave.
The Bible says: ”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. " Romans 5:8
4. Place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
You enter into the family of God when you invite Jesus Christ to enter into your life. The Bible says: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” John 1:12
Placing your faith in Jesus Christ is so simple, but it is also a profound holy moment...
• admit to God that you need Him and that your sin has separated you from Him.
• believe that Jesus Christ, God's only son, gave His life for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, it is truly a life altering event. The Bible says that old things pass away and all things become new. Jesus explained this as the new birth. We refer to it as being born again. It's not something you do yourself, it's something God performs inside your spirit. If you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you are a new creature. God wants you to be around and connect to other people who have been born again. We would love to be the place where you can connect with those of us who have also placed our faith in Jesus Christ.
